“Sri Vivekananda Education Trust” was established on 10 December 2003 in Kushalnagar with a motto of serving the society by providing higher education. As the President of the Trust Mr. N N Shambulingappa is striving his best to execute the motto. Sri Vivekananda Pre-University College emerged in the year 2004-05 and it has been successful in reaching its heights in teaching and training the students".
In the year 2007-08 another wing of the Trust “Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Degree College” came into existence with BCA, BCOM and BBM courses. It has also been striving to motivate its students to reach their goals. Both VPUCK and MGMDCK have an exemplary teaching and non-teaching staff who are serving their best to make these institutions ideal ones.
